Al-Qalqashandi said: "The emblem of this sultan is red roses on a white ground." meaning in a white patch
Ibn Fadlallah said, explaining the number of roses: "I saw the Yemeni sanjak raised on Arafat in the year 738 AH, and it was white and had five red roses in it."
Sanjak: a Turkish word meaning flag or banner.
The five roses symbolize the five pillars of Islam.
This flag image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.
It is recommended to name the SVG file “Flag of the Rasulid Dynasty.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.
This image shows a flag, a coat of arms, a seal or some other official insignia. The use of such symbols is restricted in many countries. These restrictions are independent of the copyright status.
It is easy to put a border around this flag image
