Norsk bokmål: ARKIVDAGEN 2011, tema: PROTEST!

Beskrivelse: Norsk Lytterforening ble stiftet i 1955 og var også en av riksmålsbevegelsens organisasjoner. Denne forholdt seg særlig til språket i NRK og pressen. Norsk Lytterforening var ikke en reelt selvstendig organisasjon og materialet herfra er derfor inkludert i arkivet til Riksmålsforbundet.

Riksmålsforbundet motarbeidet myndighetenes samnorskpolitikk og obligatorisk opplæring i nynorsk, og ville bevare og dyrke riksmål som det tradisjonelle standardskriftspråket i Norge. Foreldreaksjonen mot samnorsk ble organisert av Riksmålsforbundet i 1951. Den samlet inn nesten en halv million underskrifter mot samnorsk.

Riksmålsforbundets arkiv ble gitt som gave til Riksarkivet i 2007.

Parents campaign against samnorsk was organized by Riksmålsforbundet in 1951. The collected nearly half a million signatures against samnorsk. Riksmålsforbundet archive was donated to the National Archives in 2007.
