Fallout (datorspēļu sērija)
Fallout ir postapokaliptisku RPG datorspēļu sērija, ko izveidoja Interplay Entertainment. Sērijas darbība risinās 21., 22. un 23. gadsimtā. Spēļu atompanka retrofutūristiskais stils ņem iedvesmu no 50-to gadu ASV pēckara kultūras ar tās inovatīvajām tehnoloģijām un konstantu satraukumu par tuvojošos atomkaru. Par Fallout priekšteci ir uzskatāms Wasteland — 1988. gada datorspēle, ko izstrādāja Interplay Productions.
Sērijas pirmo spēli Fallout izstrādāja un izlaida Black Isle Studios 1997. gadā, bet tā turpinājumu Fallout 2 izlaida gadu vēlāk. Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel izstrāde tika nodota Micro Forté un 14 Degrees East. 2004. gadā Interplay slēdza Black Isle Studios[1] un turpināja ražot Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel, action spēli ar RPG elementiem priekš PlayStation 2 un Xbox konsolēm. Fallout 3 izlaida Bethesda Softworks, un tam sekoja Fallout: New Vegas, ko izstrādāja Obsidian Entertainment . Fallout 4 tika izlaists 2015. gadā, un Fallout 76 tika izlaists 2018. gada 14. novembrī.
